My mom, Katee, me, Jodi Larson, Payton Larson, Taylor Larson, Tamera Smith and Ashlyn Smith all went to Boise this last weekend! We left thursday morning to watch the girls play basketball for state! They played bishop kelly the first night {won}, jerome the second night {won} and were qualified to play at the Idaho Center against middleton for the championship game! We ended up losing by two points! All three games were really intense, the girls played really well!
okay, so we played bishop kelly the first night, and the assistant coach was wearing this ridiculous outfit!! okay, look at the shoes and everything!! :] we were making jokes about it all night. But to explain more, the refs were really really bad that game (we still won) but they were just making outrageous calls and i get mad just thinking about it. And as for those of you who know my mother, she'll make sure that they are aware of their absurd calls (along with tamera) haha so everyone in the crowd including my mom and tamera were yelling and were just so upset, and finally the coach and the assistant coach stand up and turn around and just say "grow up!" and look straight at my mom and tamera! So at the end of the game i was trying to get a picture of this chick haha, but i snapped one and i caught her eye! She totally saw me take it, and ithought she was going to come up to the stands and throw my camera. really though. i was so scared i actually deleted it! so this is the only one i have of her, but check her out, man! shes great. highlight of the trip. :]
Not to mention, when we got to pocatello, tamera's light came on that said "LOW ANTIFREEZE!" and then the engine starting smoking! It was so cold outside, otherwise i would have gotten out and taken a picture! Tamera's dad came from blackfoot and loaded the luggage into his buick and all eight of us stuffed into it! We drove back to idaho falls and unloaded, while tameras car (which is only two weeks old, by the way) got towed by tamera's red neck brother who lived in blackfoot as well. wish i could have gotten a stinkin picture of him. he was great.
I was so sore during the whole tournament. The day before, i went to World Gym and worked out with one of the personal trainers there. We were only supposed to go for a half hour, but we went through everything pretty fast and he wanted to "try some new things" oooookay. seriously, though. i couldnt move the next day and the day after was even worse. i was walking like an old lady, for real. i'm still a little sore, but not worth complaining about anymore haha.
I got a bill for my payment for my next semester of housing for school. bummer, i was sort of enjoying not really having to pay for that, you know. :) Its pretty cheap for the spring though, i think for the whole semester its 765! and for the fall i was paying 1150! so it wont be too bad, hopefully ;)
Oh, today i went to Tavann Youngs homecoming! he served in the Czech Republic, not sure what mission or anything, but somewhere around there! I went with my mom! He did good.. ryan also spoke in church today with one of the high counselman , he spoke right after Tavanns ward so, my mom and i ran over to that building, and then koy was speaking in our church so my mom went over there afterwards.
been dinkin' around with sonya. which is my new camera's name. get it? cause its a sony? hmmm kk sweet. hah had fun with her this weekend.
well, tomorrow is monday. mondays are my long days. bummer. :\

I love your Mom! It would be so fun to see her yellin' at the refs :)! Glad it was a fun weekend for you ladies.
