oh, music :]

this is me blogging.

listening to...
the climbing :]

Music is what feelings sound like. ~Author Unknown

it all started at jamba juice.
where i was taking his order.
and i noticed a stamp on his arm.
"i recognize that stamp, you went to
the we shot the moon concert!"
i say this, and then pull up my sleeve
and show him my stamp!
heck yes, jason call.
we are now friends ha ha.

he told me he was in a band called daphne loves derby.
HELLO, they are all over my ipod, i LOVE them.:]
well, they broke up when he left on his mission.
i found out he was on facebook and we started talking.
he told me about his band that he and his friend steven were
creating. awesome and good luck is what i told him.

four months later, they had their album release show!
at the box. in rexburg!
last night, to be exact!

First Shawni Shimbashi played a
set. She's the cutest thing. really, i enjoyed her :]

next, came one of my FAVORITE solo artists of ALL time.
john allred. :]

:]]

this is my fourth time seeing him live. i love him far too much ;)
hes actually in a band called allred, but he's touring solo for now. oh, and the picture where he has his face near the guitar, is when he is doing his looping. it's the coolest thing, he sings into his guitar, or makes beats in it, or knocks on his guitar, & he has a set that records it, so it sounds like there is a full band. its amazing, he is so talented. i want him to go so far. plus, he is a member ;)

next came spondee.
a year and a half ago, i watched them preform for secondhand serenade. i didnt particularly like them, but i thought last night they did pretty dang good. their music is really, happy. like, pop? idk how to describe it, maybe a little bit of ska. can't decide. but i enjoyed them last night. i thought they were great, and i was sorta crushin' on the drummer? :]

This girl was part of spondee, she played the synthesizer or
whatever its called, and this sweet piano. ha ha, it was great.
