back to life, back to reality.

like that old cheesy song, you know.

okay, so. let me tell you a little story.

once upon a time, wade + karly went to phoenix arizona. first off, we packed our little carry ons. then we got ready to go. tyler (brother in law) picked us up from our cute little house and took us to the airport. this was us, in the snow, freezing before we left.
we got off the plane and instant heat hit our backs. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? this is fan.tast.ic. i'm i love and i start spinning and talking really loud about how excited i am. then husband says.."kar, i'm right here.. you dont need to yell.." oh yes, i do. people actually live in this, like, this is heaven. temperature check. 72 degrees. for the love! rachel, which i love her, is my good friend. we used to work at jamba juice together. her and her husband brandon moved to phoenix for him to go to grad school, and thats just plain exciting. she came to pick us up! i was so excited to see her! she dropped us off at my grandparents house and it was so good to see my grams and gramps. i almost started crying because i LOVE them so much and hadn't seen them for so long! :) later that night, we went to dinner at this YUMMY mexican restaurant. loved that. then rach and bran came back and picked us up and we went to this yummy frozen custard place. super cute. got to see some birthdays being celebrated and some guy wearing a purple vest with yellow pants (sorry bout the quality, but you gotta do what you gotta do when you're trying to be sneaky k) that was interesting. saw lots of mormons dressed up. that was interesting too. i thought only mormons lived in idaho and utah. HA! joke.
the next day, we went to the temple. this one to be exact. and it was beautiful. a family that wade knew in his mission went through for their first time, with their kids. wade baptized johnny, and he was the first one in his family to be baptized a little over a year. its so exciting for me to know that they know they can be together FOREVER because of their faithfulness and love towards the gospel. After the ceremony, the girls kept saying..."now we're sealed like an envelope." thats about right. theres a picture of the kids, and their family and then us with all of them, and then a picture of wade when we baptized johnny and a recent picture at the temple. (talk about a run on sentence)
after the temple, we drove to peoria and visited some friends of wades. we picked oranges and brother joes house. he's the cutest old man, so cute. then we drove to prescott where we stayed with the nelsons. they are the cutest couple and have such a beautiful home! they were so nice and made us feel so welcome in their house! we went to two sacrament meetings, and i guess my husband is a celebrity in that town. people were coming up to us, left and right, forward and backward.."ELDER LEAVITT, i mean..brother leavitt!" or "WHAT THE hECK ARE YOU DOING HERE!!?" or " I CANT BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY GOT MARRIED!" bhaahaha. it was a good time. the trip went by way to fast though. heres some pictures of the nelsons  & wade. shirley, the wife, took pictures of us on her camera, so i'll have to wait for those! :] anyways! that pretty much sums up our trip! what a blast! nice weather, good company, got my lover beside me. you know. perfection. except for that we came back to...14 degree weather, which is exactly like a slap in the face! ...from shaq! sheesh! anyways! until next time! the end.

Oh my gosh Karly that sounds so flipping fun. I'm so glad you got to experience that. I swear one of my most favorite things was going to Tim's mission reunions. Made me feel all proud and stuff hahaha.
