bountiful baskets, you can read more about them
here, but for short, you sign up for a basket and show up and pick it up. every week its different kinds of fruits and vegetables. :] yum yum! it's supposedly said that you save 35-40$ by getting it this way rather than the grocery store! you pay 15$ and get all this food, so i believe it! :]

My friend does that kind of thing and swears by it.
I don't . Not sure why. I think I should. Ever fed a family of 5? I can't keep my kids filled!
Going broke...
;)
A lot of people in our ward do that and love it. I'm part of the community co-op put out by the crossroads urban center in SLC. You can buy meat and fruits and veggies super duper cheap. They also have other food stuff from UT companies to try and kinda feed our local economy. All they ask as a member is you do at least 2 hrs of service a month which is super easy with any church calling. Gotta love cheap fresh fruits and veggies!
I have heard of meat boxes, but never fruit and veggie baskets. I may have to check into that. Thanks for the tip!!
I feel like I should be doing this.. yea it looks awesome!
