what exactly is perfect?

so sometimes i portray our marriage as perfect.

and its not. its not the perfect definition that the world

knows. what is perfect, anyway?

we argue and we fight. sometimes feelings are hurt

and sometimes we don't make our bed & homework is

scattered on the floor. sometimes the garbage needs taken out

and a lot of time we go to bed without doing the dishes. somedays

we spend a little too much & end up working more the next week to make

up for it. sometimes we get a little irritated with another and need some 

quiet time. we're different in a lot of ways.

but we're similiar in more.

we also forgive and we get along, 

we have a lot of inside jokes & we share a lot of commonalities.

we attend the temple, say our prayers and try to read our scriptures.

we laugh, we try to understand another & we have long talks 

about our long future together.

its not the perfect the world would describe

but its perfect to us.

and i guess that's really all that matters.
