i wish, but i'm thankful

i wish the weather wasn't so dang cold.
[and i really mean the snow]

but i'm thankful that its now the seasons for jeans and cardigans!

i wish i could keep up on the laundry [for the love, there's only two of us!]

but i'm thankful that we have a washer & dryer in our house

[and not a laundromat across town!]

i wish i could be done being sick. [the sniffles and the coughing, that is]

but i'm thankful i don't have cancer or any other life threatening illness.

i wish i was better at speaking in public

but i'm thankful for the different ways to communicate

& the different connections i have with people.

i wish i could have a longer weekend with the hubs.

but i'm thankful that i get one & that neither of us have to work on them.
