one year anniversary!

yep. its true. i was just reading back on a bunch of posts from last november about me moving out of my apartment with my college roommates, and going through the temple, our honeymoon pictures...so crazy how fast this year has felt like it has gone!! There's so many memories that I will never forget, thanks to my dear blog. We decided to pack up and spend friday and saturday night in jackson hole. Jackson hole is basically empty in the winter, we found out. It was awesome. 

 

Before we got there, we stopped at the square ice cream place. There was a girls bathroom and a boys bathroom. Someone was in the boys bathroom for a LOONNG time. So Wade knocked. "I'm hurrrrrrying" so wade waits for 2 more minutes, then disregards the sign on the girls bathroom that says, "NO BOYS PERMITTED IN THIS BATHROOM "watch the door, i'll just go in the girls." Right when he goes in, this cranky lady said, "You do know I can call the cops and he can be arrested for indecent exposure, don't you??!" ...yeah dude! that might be why i'm watching the door! <-- what i wanted to say. "Sorry, but he had to go reeeeallly bad.." <--what i actually said.

Our hotel didn't offer a breakfast so we went to the store and they were having a sale that was four boxes of any kind of cereal for $10, plus a free gallon of milk. OKAY SOLD! I wasn't sure which brand of milk went with the sale, so i asked a worker who happened to be standing by the other worker, and i asked, "what kind of milk is good for this cereal?" they looked at me like i was an idiot. Here were our picks: 

We entered a candy shop. baaaad idea. turns out they were having a sale on their fudge?  Buy a pound, get a pound. ugh. makes me so sick to think about. but it happened. it really did. we still have 3/4 of it left and i can't stand to eat it. but it was good..? :)

We went and looked around in all the fun stores. We also did one of our other favorite things, reading books at the bookstore, which i guess is illegal..to read a book without purchasing it? huh... well anyways~ we went to three different bookstores and spent a good amount of time in each. 

 

We ate some good food. One, consisting of Mountain High Pizza, which we ate here not last summer, but the summer before, (see this post) and we loved it so we went back again! yummm. we ate at some crazy place called merry piglets too. It was mexican food and it was good..had some crazy crazy art on the walls though.

 

Wade got me a new camera for our anniversary! I love it. It's the exact same as my old SLR, but it is a step or two above. It has more features such as HD video and panoramic picture & quite a few other things, such as this taking 15 pictures per second haha..i still laugh everytime i look at these....shoot. :)

its too hard to get pictures of just the two of us, even with a tripod! Maybe next year!
