it basically screwed up this post about 14 times. 


8 facts about karly and wade


1) we met the summer of 1999. here's a picture of us. kind of ridiculous. after that summer, i didn't see him again until my sophomore year of college. things change, things change.except his red hair.

 


2) Wade waited almost a whole month to kiss me! This led to awkward moments when he asked me to be his girlfriend, but didn't kiss me. Or, would leave me house and give me a long hug..and then run. :) Kidding, he never ran, but he sure did walk fast.  This was actually the first night he kissed me. check out the background, people! he always said, "I didn't want our first kiss to be on your doorstep, it had to be special" He's thoughtful like that. Still to the day..

 

3) We love the movie Sandlot and we love baseball. When we were dating, we played on a softball team up at school & last summer we played on a slow pitch team for the city. so much fun, & you better believe we've already whipped out our mitts this year.

4) This picture was on Wade's birthday when we were dating. Everyone started texting us and congratulating us on our engagement. Hello, we'd only been dating two months & we're not engaged. this night was just PERFECT. oh dang, he is so cute.



5) We never separated when we were dating. I wanted to be with him every minute of the day. We saw each other everyday for 97 days before he had to leave for a whole week to be an EFY counselor. For the next seven weeks, I only saw him 6 days.  So sad. Now, I'm like, okay get the heck out of here! Kidding.

6) Wade is a really patient person. I mean, you'd have to be living with me. My brother used to tease me and tell me that I better find someone who REALLY loves me because I'm a piece of work, basically. I guess things that I do that annoy wade could be things like, oh. I don't know, not closing the cupboards, not shutting my sock drawer, and folding & hanging his clothes up inside out. The only thing that he does that bugs me is when he puts his wet toothbrush next to anything of mine. Glen told me we might be set for eternal marriage if those are our only pet peeves. Ha ha ha!

7) He loves to fix up old bikes. He fixed up a pretty sweet one last year for himself and we're in the process of making me one! Yep. It's a work in progress and its gonna be pink..i mean, its gonna be SWEET.

8) We don't like animals. We think animals are cute, but we'd probably never ever buy one. nope nope.we actually bought a fish while we were engaged. i guess it just dies when you don't feed it? weird.
