to logan we went

A couple weekends ago, we decided to go to Logan. Our good friends Mel and Cam were blessing their little baby girl, drew. The blessing was Sunday, but we decided to go down Saturday morning and chill with our friends. My old roommate Kim West lives in Logan and goes to school there (traitor) :) and so does my friend amanda. So, we went to lunch with them. Then we met up with Hailey and Glen. (my brother and his new wife) Glen had to work, so we went to the nursing home where he works and met all the crazy ladies. I was wearing the shirt in these pictures, and this lady kept looking at me and going.."ooooooh la la la la la la" about 50 times it felt like. Woweeeee. She also kept saying "eenie meenie minie moe, catch a tiger by it's toe" ....wade just had to reply to her and say, "yeah, she caught me by the toe." and points to me. And then you wanna know what this little old lady said..??!?! She said.."are you sure she didn't catch ya by the penis?!!" oh my. we died, and then knew we had to get out of there. Fast. Anyways, the blessing went really well, and baby Drew is so precious! She let me hold her and she even smiled for me!! Totally loved that!

there's something about just hanging out and being around people who genuinely want to know how you are and what you are doing. I would consider Kim one of my best friends. She is pretty funny and jokes around, but she's got such a good heart and she's just a seriously good friend! I love her! My first semester at college with her is one I'll never forget! Mel's husband and Wade have only met one time before this weekend, but everytime they hang out, they act like they are best friends and talk for hours. We wish the Melicks lived closer! We left Logan sad to leave! Good people live there! Who knows though...we might be back for grad school. Logan left a good taste in our mouths! ;)

It was good to see Hailey and Glen too! Their little apartment is so cute, it has hardwood floors and high ceilings and it's soooo cute! :) Loooooove it! But, alas, we couldn't stay with them for long....THEYRE NEWLYWEDS. AKA 1 month old NEWLYWEDS!

Oh my... I love crazy old ladies! They make life more interesting. And I totally love Logan. I've got lots of family there. My grandpa used to have the greatest house on the island. I miss that house so bad. Logan is an amazing place to be and you should definitely move there. Plus you'd be closer and could come out this way more often! :)
