school and life.

You know when life gets really stressful all at once? totally happening this month.

February has just not been that great to us! I have three classes left and then my student teaching, but yet if I don't pass my other certification like I'm supposed to, none of that matters! I've tried and tried on one of the tests, but I'm struggling, and it's hard to study so hard and to not pass! I'm halfway done, but the frustration is kicking in and needless to say, that is why I posted this last week! haHAha! Along with 33 other comments. Funny how some people are like, WHAT YOU ARE CRAZY. but then the girls in my major are like...DUDE...i feel ya. (and to clear anything up, I really would not drop out, being so close.) Although I really don't know what I'm going to do having a baby Aug 23rd and starting Student teaching Aug 28th. But you know what, everything always works out. And thats what I keep telling myself. I AM FINISHING SCHOOL.

Anyways. Besides school, I'm just so dang tired all the time! I started thinking though....in my class, we learned from Brigham Young that you are supposed to have 8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of work, and 8 hours of leisure EVERYDAY.
oh really? So how does that come into play when this is my schedule:
6:00- Wake up
6:40- Leave the house for school
7:45-1:45 Get to school, do homework, go to class.
145-2:45- Get home from school, eat a quick lunch
3:00 go to work.
3:00-6:45 work.
by the time I get home it's 7:00 and then I can't even function because I'm dead. I usually find something to eat, AKA cold cereal. Sit down and do homework. On a lucky day, we will go to the gym...or watch bachelor or biggest loser. LUCKY us.
How did Brigham do that when he had like a million wives and a hundred children? Oh. I know. :)
Did I mention we only work 3 1/2 hours a day each? That has to cost us somewhere too!  (poor, poor, poor... but we are DEBT free, people!)
Oh, the life of a college student!
(will sooooooon be over, cause 5 years is plenty)
and did you know, wade is done this semester?
what a guy!

man, i love you whoever is still reading this.

Karly I love your blog!!!! And I know you will make it through :) I'm student teaching this semester and being with those cute kids all day, every day definitely makes up for everything else. Keep moving forward and let me know if I can help in anyway. And keep blogging ... because you always make me smile!!!

I, too, love reading!!! :) K....so I didn't realize you were DUE and starting teaching the SAME week!!! A suggestion - defer for 6 months, Student Teach starting in January, after you have some craziness that comes with newborns worked out. I student taught when tanner was 6 months old. Still hard, but it was slightly easier to leave him with a sitter knowing that he didn't have to nurse every 2 hours, was taking a bottle, and could kindof keep himself happy (aka, not needing to be held like newborns sometime do).

My offer still stands. !!! I'm just so stinkin' excited for you and baby!!!
