Workout Wednesday

 

SkinnyMeg and Mama Laughlin are my favorite fitness bloggers, so I decided to join in on the fun for workout wednesday. I'm not going to lie, I seriously miss working out like I used to be able to, and when I see all my friends working out, I get a tinge of jealousy! Isn't that silly? I have stopped weighing myself, because it was getting kind of depressing, and really, I'm still working out, and I'm eating healthy, so I can't help the weight that comes with this little babe, and I've accepted that. I feel good, and this pregnancy has been so awesome. I think it's because I was healthy before and continued to stay healthy and active! I can't run anymore, I haven't ran since 25 weeks. It wasn't too bad when I was running, but it was an hour or two afterwards my hips would hurt so bad, and I just decided it wasn't worth it anymore! When I go to the gym (usually two or three times a week) I do the elliptical machine, and it is so much easier on my body than running! I lift weights, but not very heavy and not very much! I do 15 lbs on my arms, and do my shoulders. I don't do many other areas because ABS are out of the question and the elliptical gives my legs a pretty good workout as it is! 

All the fitness bloggers that I follow including Skinnymeg, mama laughlin, along with ElleNoel, Lindsayslosingit, Lauramustloseweight, are always posting pictures at the gym. At the gym I go to, it's always so packed and I'm not going to lie, I kind of felt like an idiot! HAhaHA! But they also have a womens only area that isn't so busy all the time, so I was able to take a couple pictures. But don't think I'm a total tool for taking these pictures haha, it's for the link up...its for the link up...its for the link up. (And I had to throw in a "flexbreak" because that's what mama laughlin and skinnymeg are known for!) (And yes, I wear flip flops, because I'm 35 weeks pregnant, and when I work out, my feet swell! Okay, lets be honest, my feet swell even when I'm not working out. haha)

Oh my goodness I had this crazy pilates instructor when I was in college. She was pregnant and doing pilates. She could do a lot with her big belly and I bet delivery was cake with her crazy muscle strength. But I'm sure you'll drop your baby weight quick. I lost like 20 lbs in a couple days after having Charlotte. It was awesome! And breast feeding burns like 500 calories or something so bonus! Heavenly Father made our bodies pretty awesome!
