playing a little catch up!

Well, another week has come and gone! Last weekend we were able to go to Kelly Canyon and go snowboarding. It was pretty stinkin' awesome! We went with our friends Nate and Nicole and then met up with my sister Katee and her boyfriend Mike. Totally a blast! I hadn't gone since I was a freshman in highschool, but it's kind of like riding your bike...you just pick up where you left off. I can't believe we waited this long to go, Wade and I had never gone together, and he is a total pro at skiing ;)

Ivy got her 6 month shots. Saddest thing, as always. But she actually did great!

I'm totally slacking on my new years resolution already! I'm not quite sure what i was thinking, but there's no way I can run 500 miles. It's actually a pretty attainable goal, its about 9 miles a week...but I literally can.not. find time go to the gym. School for me starts at 7:15, which means I would have to be BACK at my house at 6:15 in order to get ready..I just can't wake up at 5:00 in the morning when I'm up late doing lesson plans, and up in the night with ivy! I tried it for a little while and it's just rough. I wouldn't mind going right after I get done with school, except for it breaks my heart to pick her up from the babysitters and then have to drop her off at the gym nursery. Mommy guilt right here. But I need to take care of myself too! I just need to find some time. Suggestions???!

I went to a relief society conference yesterday. It was pretty much amazing! The theme was something close to "how can I have a Christ centered home?" We learned a lot about trials and the atonement and it was just what I needed. I feel like I've been going through the motions and I'm stuck in a rut of doing and saying the same things day in and out. I needed a boost and I was glad I went. Especially since I found out they were having olive garden at the end. (ha!) There's just something about meeting with women who want to uplift and encourage! Loved it! :)

Last night my dad and Lori came down from Pocatello to celebrate Dad's birthday! We went to pizza hut and came back and ate iceceream and watched youtube. His birthday isn't until Thursday, but Olive is getting blessed next weekend so we figured we wouldn't have a chance to celebrate before then. Today is actually Wade's dads birthday and they came to visit us for a while today since they were in town.

Well...I think that is about it! I'm about halfway done with my student teaching, it's pretty much flying by now! I think graduation is going to be here before I know it! And for spring break we are going to Mesa with our friends! It's pretty much going to be a blast, I already know it!

Oh, and my dad just got snapchat. ayyyyy.

Well I sure was not as busy as you when I had Charlotte so I would get my exercise in during naps or at like 5 or 6 am after a feeding. Although you set a goal to run maybe it just needs to change a little. You can have a goal to just get in a set amount of time of exercise each day and maybe when your schedule changes up you can get back to your running goal. Lowering it isn't the worst thing. I say any amount you can accomplish being that busy is awesome! At least you're doing something! You could always acquire a jogging stroller and bring her along with you so you're not away from her. Or just do a mile or two as soon as Wade is home. You could always do a little longer run on Sat when you have more time together. I don't know if any of those help but just know you're doing an awesome job! It'll all work out! :)

bahaha parents should never get snap chat. When my sister put it on my mom's phone all i got were pictures of her frowning into the camera trying to figure it out haha.
running goals are hard - I trained for a marathon last year and have totally slacked off since then. I'm at like 3 miles a week - if I'm feeling awesome. Keep you the good work!
