To follow up on last post, we have moved into my moms husbands house! When they got married, he moved into her house and his house has been vacant since! This is nice for us, for one, because we sold most of our big stuff (we sold our couches, because we didnt want to move them, and also wanted to buy new ones for our new house...& we sold most of our appliances like our microwave and washer and dryer because it was included in the new house) So his house has all those things in it already, so rather than renting and having to buy all new thngs again, this just seemed like the better idea until we can figure out what we want to do long term.
Our plan is to stay there until I start my job. Did I tell you I got a job? I will be teaching 6th grade at Cloverdale! I'm so excited, but I'm seriously really nervous! So in August-September-Octoberish is when we will start the housing process again. That whole ordeal really stressed me out and I'm ready to just put it on the back burner for a while, even if that means not having a house for a little while longer.
Holy smokes, so Ivy is 10 months today! What the? She is crawling, and is into everything! She is more hesitant to go to strangers now, which is funny because as a parent, it's kind of embarrassing..you want your kid to be versitile and go to whomever whenever they want to hold her and be happy all the time. But Ivy has a little personality of her own, and lately she will reach right back for me or Wade when someone else has her! As long as we aren't in the room, she does fine! Hopefully this is just a phase! :) (i sort of like it, kind of makes me feel wanted/needed, lol)
Last weekend, Nicole and I ran our half marathon! It was perfect! The route was scenic, it was fun to run and talk, and the boys followed us all around and took pictures of us and cheered us on! It was exciting and I felt really good afterwards. My knee was a little tight the next day (the back of it) but other than that, I felt really good! We finished in 2 hours and 21 minutes! Not too bad for our first, it was about a 10:47 min/mile pace! Ive never been fast, but I can run forever. With that being said, No, I will not run a full! BORING! Seriously! What do you do for 26 miles?? ayy. Anyways!
Wade is working summer school and has a couple clients afterwards. His schedule is something like 9-3 Mon-Thurs and is off Fridays. I will totally take that! We love having him home! I've been busy with photography, here are a couple pictures from them as of lately!
While everyone was in town for the race, we got together and ate dinner and went to the park and played a mad game of whiffle ball!
Can we talk about Ivy's hair for a minute? No matter what I do to it, but mid afternoon it is a HOT MESS!
I just had to post this picture of her because SERIOUSLY. I gave her one side of the oreo. hahah
