Ivy's one year old update!

Ivy is a year old. 

How the heck did that even happen?

I can honestly say it's been the longest/shortest year of my life!! 

Ayyy yi yi! We love our little peanut! She makes us so happy!! 

Ivy 12 months 

-loves taking baths (I can say to her, "wheres your ducky?" and she'll find it, and then I'll say, "aww, give it loves!" and she'll kiss it. It's so cute!) 

- loves her daddy! She is always reaching for him and saying, "up!"

-She loves eating in her high chair! I will say to her, "Do you want a snack?" and she will say, "nack! nack!"

-She is good at saying please, even though it sounds like "BEEEEEE!" and she always yells it. It's like she's saying, seriously, you're making me say please first!? I'm hungry!

-She can sign more, but when she signs it, she says, "BEEEEE" for please. So it's like a combination of more please. It's so cute! 

This is what she does when I say "oh no!" and she does that with her hands, and then says, "HA DUH!" which is oh no. ha ha

-She can say ball. Whenever we pass the fruit at the store, she points to it and says ball! Especially at the watermelon. It's sort of like a ball!

-She can spot dogs from a mile away. She see's them before I do, and will start woofing. It's too funny.

-She has four teeth, and they came in a week before she turned one. ALL FOUR OF THEM CAME IN WITHIN 3 days!! 

-She is doing great at the babysitters house. She loves to play with Addy, the other one year old who gets babysat too. 

-She's still not walking..right now, she will stand up on things, and she can even stand up by herself, but she gets too scared to walk! 

-She loves applesauce, fruitloops, yogurt, mac&cheese, and bananas. She really loves most everything!

-She will take my phone and hold it up in front of her and say.."EEEEZ!" for cheese! Ya think her mom has her trained, or what!?

-Whenever we get out of the car, and the swingset is in sight, she will say, "WIIIINK!" for swing. I'll have to record it.

-Her favorite word is hi, she says it wherever we go. It's like so awkward at the store when she says it to people, especially like middle aged guys, and they're usually taken back and don't know what to do. And basically if you don't say hi back to her, she will yell HIIIIII until you do. I just keep pushing the cart. keepin' it movin...

-She will say bye too! But she usually says it WAY after we're gone from whoever she says it too. Like, we will be leaving the babysitters house and Brenda will say, Bye Ivy! And Ivy will wave, and then as we are driving home, Ivy says, "BYE! BYYYYE! BYE!" just keep drivin..

-She is a little clingy. She does great with people when we aren't there, but if someone else is holding her and she see's us, she thinks we are going to leave her and she cries and cries! It's sad, but hoping its just a phase! I think with the new schedule of taking her to the babysitters has thrown her off a little. 

I think thats about it! We love Ivy bug! She's such a good little baby and so fun! She brings so much happiness into our home, I can't remember much of life without her! 

It only took us three separate days to take these dang pictures! She was kind of naughty! :)

But she was also way super dang cute too!
