Sometimes my little Ivy  Mae turns into Ivy CRAY and I look at her and wonder where she came from!? Who's child is she? and why is she acting like that? ..side eye.

And then there are other times and she's just so cute, and I want to be like, "she's mine" but that would be weird too. Anyways, I just wanted to take a sec and write down some things that she's been doing/saying that have been so cute/weird/sad/funny/etc.

First of all, Wade, for some reason had to teach her where her bum was. So now she says, "mama, bum!" and side spanks her self. ..I don't even know whether to laugh or just be a little annoyed.

We have jack and jill bathroom, so there are two doors, one connects to the hall and one to our bedroom..and if I forget to close one while I'm going, she somehow will find me and say "pot, pot!" short for potty. And then she slowly harasses you until you are done. Lesson learned, always shut both doors.

Anything that has writing on it (bills, paper..etc) she points and yells, "A-B! A-B A-B!!!" until you give it to her. I don't know if she's putting together that A-B are letters and letters are on the paper, I have no idea what it is, but she's obsessed and doesn't stop yelling at it until it's in her hands!

When we put eye drops in her eye, it's usually at night after bath time. She hates them so much she squirms and clenches her eye shut and screams. It's basically the worst. So what we've been doing is wrapping her up in her towel after bath and wade will distract while I put them in. (I'm always the bad guy, people!) :) And..she usually cries, but is okay with it. Well I wasn't even planning on putting her drops in, because it was right before church, and I got her out of the bath and wrapped her up and she looked at me and said, "mama, no, eyes, hot!" :( Made me feel like the worst!

Whenever she's trying to get Wade's attention, the conversation goes like this:
Ivy: "MAM, MAM, MAM"
Wade: .."dad.."
Ivy: "MAMA, DAD, DADA"
Wade: "What Ive?"
Ivy: points to me, "Mom" :)

She can point at her muscles when you ask where they are.
She can say, "stuck" and "help" or "suck mama, hep"

She's getting four molars right now, and she fevers up really bad and he cheeks get rosy and she's a total bear. Oh my! I hope it ends soon! Anyways, thats about it for now. She's in such a fun age, I'm loving it!
