Jenny Lake Hike

Wade had been wanting to hike Jenny Lake for a while, so we decided to just do it! We called our friends (the Ballards) and told them when we wanted to go, and of course they were up for it! We left about 11 in the morning and drove to Jenny Lake. It felt like it took forever to get there because we had to make a couple potty stops for Ivy. We finally got there and hiked around. It was really pretty and a decent hike...well, the heat made it feel pretty decent! Wade packed Ivy on his pack going in, and I packed her going out. That was an extra 30 pounds I'm glad I don't have to carry everyday! Dang! She did pretty well, she cried for the first 20 minutes..and then she crashed. She just fell asleep and there was no waking her up!

When I took my pack off, my whole back was soaked! :) The waterfall and the hike in general was really cool & it was fun to get out and do something different! After the hike we went to a yummy burger place and then we headed home! We didn't get home until about 8, and everyone was pretty tired. We got beat by the heat!
